The Tamil Nadu Journal of Health Research & Innovation (TNJHRI) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality, and evidence-based scholarly manuscripts in the fields of medicine, allied health sciences, physiotherapy, biomedical sciences, rehabilitation sciences, public health, and interdisciplinary healthcare research. The journal provides an international academic platform for researchers, clinicians, academicians, healthcare professionals, scientists, and students to disseminate innovative scientific findings and clinical knowledge that contribute to healthcare advancement, patient care, rehabilitation, healthcare education, and translational medical research.
All manuscripts submitted to TNJHRI must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, ethical integrity, methodological rigor, and academic relevance. TNJHRI adheres to the ethical guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
TNJHRI accepts a wide range of scholarly contributions that promote scientific advancement and interdisciplinary healthcare knowledge. The journal publishes Original Research Articles, Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, Narrative Reviews, Short Communications, Clinical Perspectives, Case Reports, Case Series, Commentaries, and Letters to the Editor. Research involving clinical studies, experimental investigations, healthcare innovations, rehabilitation sciences, healthcare technologies, public health interventions, and translational research is particularly encouraged.
Authors should prepare manuscripts in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and standard page margins. The manuscript should be organized systematically to facilitate scientific readability and peer-review evaluation.
The title page should contain the full title of the manuscript, running title or short title, names of all authors, institutional affiliations, corresponding author details including email address and contact number, and ORCID identification where available.
A concise and informative abstract should be provided for all manuscripts. Original research articles should preferably include structured abstracts with sections such as Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Authors should provide three to six relevant keywords below the abstract using standard scientific terminology wherever possible.
Original research articles should generally include the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References. Review articles and case reports may follow appropriate structures according to the nature of the manuscript.
Authors are encouraged to present tables, figures, graphs, and illustrations clearly and appropriately. All tables and figures should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and accompanied by suitable titles and legends. Images should be of high quality and submitted in acceptable formats such as JPEG or PNG. Permission must be obtained for previously published or copyrighted materials wherever applicable.
TNJHRI follows the APA 7th edition referencing style for citations and references. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all references cited in the manuscript. References should be recent, relevant, and formatted uniformly according to journal requirements.

Authors must ensure that all research involving human participants or animals complies with institutional ethical standards and internationally accepted ethical guidelines. Studies involving human participants should include statements regarding ethical committee approval and informed consent. Patient confidentiality and privacy must be strictly maintained in all submissions. Research involving animals should comply with institutional and national guidelines for animal care and ethical research practices.
The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices. All submitted manuscripts may undergo plagiarism screening before peer review. Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism or ethical violations will be rejected immediately.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, drafting, or critical revision of the manuscript. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission and agree to be accountable for the integrity of the work.
